Believe it or not Las Vegas and its surrounds have almost 60 golf courses. Some of these are world class whilst others are under construction at present. Golf is an all year round sport in Las Vegas and booking your tee time well in advance is always recommended.

Many of the golf courses around Las Vegas were designed by many of the pros who both still play on the PGA tour and those who no longer play competitively. Palmer, Nicklaus, Chi Chi Rodriques, Johnny Miller and Fuzzy Zoeller have all been behind the layout of the golf courses and many of these courses have world ranking tournaments held every year such is the quality.

Many of the almost 40 million annual visitors to Las Vegas enjoy a round or two, though it has become expensive with many courses charging in excess of $100 which has forced many local people to quit the game.
